Shakaria Glass is a dynamic and mission-driven human services leader with over a decade of experience transforming systems that support children and families. A proud metro-Atlanta native, Shakaria has held a range of high-impact roles across Georgia’s child welfare landscape, both in the public and private sectors. Most recently serving as the Director of Delivered Services for Georgia Division of Family and Children Services, she led provider oversight efforts, drove program improvements, and ensured regulatory compliance for statewide services that serve Georgia’s most vulnerable populations.
Known for her strategic thinking and unwavering commitment to quality, Shakaria has spearheaded initiatives to strengthen onboarding, streamline monitoring processes, and elevate standards of care across provider networks. Her leadership has improved outcomes for children and families while fostering stronger, more accountable partnerships among public and private stakeholders.
Shakaria earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Hampton University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at Georgia State University. She is a proud member of the United Way Volunteer Improvement Program Summer 2025 Cohort and actively volunteers in her community through various civic and school-based initiatives.
